A FEW THINGS ABOUT THE ARTIST

1. What do you do when you’re not making art? (Day job etc...).

I am a disabled 15 year retired veteran. I volunteer my good days to promoting legislative change for veterans, our current focus is military sexual assault. I founded a group that communicates our need for support to congressmen, called Veteran Legislative Quick Response Force.

2. Why do you make art?

I make art to explain images in my head, and how I feel about things in my life.

3. What inspires you?

Life experiences inspires me. I wouldn't have beautiful art without trials and tribulations.

4. What/who are your influences?

Frida Kahlo, Dave Filoni and Margaret Bourke-White.

5. If you could meet anyone dead or alive who would it be?

This is a hard one because it depends on what I would like to do. I would have to say Dave Filoni.
